The Utah Jazz came into Boston as a 3-4 team, and left 3-5. The Celtics had a clear advantage for the entirety of the game, ending up with a final score of 105-86. All five Celtics' starters scored in double digits, while Kevin Garnett led the charge with 18. Rasheed Wallace went just 2-7 from beyond the arc, but managed 12 points. Marquis Daniels, a very underrated player and a great pickup for the C's scored 10. Coming into the game, the bigges matchup was between Utah point guard Deron Williams and Boston point guard Rajon Rondo. Rondo outplayed his counterpart, as he scored 14 points to Deron's 13 and earned 11 assists as opposed to William's meager 1. Tonight was a great win for Boston, as they were able to defeat a very capable Utah Jazz team and regain the swagger which had momentarily been burned by the Suns. Return to Celtics News |
